iMonnit Rules - Make Primary Sensor
When editing a Rule in the iMonnit Online Portal, there is a small certificate icon under the Rule's Conditions that activates a sensor as the Primary Sensor. The Primary Sensor applies its Scale to the Rule for all trigger sensors. This is useful in a scenario with a Rule triggered by multiple sensors that uses a Custom Scale (like a 0-20 mA sensor). If the primary sensor scale is Custom Scale, the Rule will be triggered and report the Scale of the sensor configured as the Primary Sensor.
To navigate which sensor is the Primary sensor:
- Select Rules in the left hand pane.
2. Select the Rule.
- Select Conditions to view the Available sensors below.
The Primary sensor has a certificate icon highlighted in blue. Sensor can be enabled (checked green) or disabled (not checked green) to be eligible to be the primary sensor.
To change the Primary sensor, click on an unselected Certificate icon and the image below displays briefly.
