The Voltage Meters that Monnit offers have weak filtering implemented on their hardware which may cause a slight delay in the time it takes for a sensor to report the actual voltage being supplied to the sensor.

Filter Time

Voltage sensors have a weak filter that protects the sensor’s circuits from being overloaded by a spike in voltage. This filter has a 5-second delay. Therefore, when voltage is supplied to the sensor, it may have a slight delay as the voltage ramps up in the sensor’s circuit over 5 seconds.
