Site Not Secure Error After Installing iMonnit Express
iMonnit Express 4.0 is a website site hosted locally on your PC. Therefore there is no Security Certificate that is included when installing Express. As a result, you may see a security error when accessing the website. Although there is no real security risk, the browser interprets the site not having a Security Certificate as a security issue. Therefore you may see a security error, and elect to view the website anyway.
iMonnit Express 4 and later is not compatible with Windows 8 or Windows Server. There are security features in these Windows versions which do not allow the Kestrel server iMonnit Express is based on to run. This will be observed by a security error detected in your Browser. The Express site may load in Internet Explorer, though Internet Explorer is not supported as a browser.
You may see the error, “ns_error_net_inadequate_security” or similar in your browser.
